Pine Ridge is a great place to work! Why? Because the Pine Ridge staff team genuinely loves and cares for each other while we do purposeful and joyful work in God's Kingdom. The 2017 summer season holds much promise as the Camp looks to build on record attendance from the past few summers. Most important, we will have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with every camper that comes.

High School Seniors and College Age Opportunities:

High School Seniors and College aged applicants are eligible to serve as for cabin leaders, leadership positions, activity positions, and areas of service in dining service and house keeping. As of now we still have some positions available and we are taking all applications.

 

 

High School Age Opportunities:

To work at Pine Ridge applicants must be at least 14 years old (as of June 1) to volunteer at Pine Ridge as part of our Support Team (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Grounds)  or our Junior Cabin Leader (JCL) Program. 

Our Support Team are the servant hands and feet of Christ to all of the campers and other team members as they serve in the dish pit, dining hall, maintaining the grounds, and cleaning our facilities. JCL's are students entering their junior or senior year  of high school that are spiritually mature and desire to be a Cabin Leader with Pine Ridge in their future. The Support Team and JCL applicants are volunteers, typically scheduled for 3 weeks of the summer. Pine Ridge will reward the volunteers with a credit to towards a summer camp session for each week of participation in the program with a value of 1 week of camp earned after the completion of 3 weeks of service.This credit is not transferable to anyone else including other family members. Applicants wishing to serve in excess of 3 weeks may do so on a volunteer basis. Other positions (some paid) may be available to high school students that have a certification or skill set that is needed in camp ministry. Interviews for most high school applicants will take place near the spring break time period. 

The application process will include completion of an application, completion of 3 personal references, an interview, background checks (for those 18 and older) and a formal job offer. The process is fairly rigorous as we desire to find and hire the very best team.

The Employee Application should be completed by all first time applicants and those returning staff members looking to get a position in a different program/department (i.e. JCL to Cabin Leader or GFS to JCL). All first time applicants must ask 3 personal references to complete the reference form.
