Jr. High

7th - 9th Graders

This camp is absolutely amazing. I met some of my life-long friends here and all the staff is so loving and gracious to every camper. Love this place❤️

Jr. High Camp

Our Jr. High programs give each camper an opportunity for lots of activity action combined with more in depth worship and Bible study. Zipping through the air on our Flying Squirrel and playing laser tag in the woods, campers will experience real (not virtual) activity, as well as develop new and deeper friendships in a jam packed day.

Aviation Camp

Have you ever wanted to fly a plane? This summer you could make that dream a reality at our Brand New Aviation Camp being offered at Pine Ridge! Aviation camp will allow campers to learn the basics of flight, controls, and even let them fly a plane! Campers will spend the majority of each day Monday through Friday training at SMAT (School of Missionary Aviation Technology) while spending each morning and evening on the Pine Ridge campus.

During this week of exploring mission's aviation, campers will experience ground lessons on pre-flight inspection as well as a briefing prior to each flight, during which the basic concepts of aerodynamics and aircraft control are explained in an abbreviated and simple format.  Each camper will experience 3 flights during which the basic skills of ground maneuvering, climbs, level turns, and descents are perfected.

Space is Limited!

Adventrure Trip

If you are looking for a completely different camp experience, try our Adventure Trip. This week of camp calls and caters to the adventurous soul in all of us. This week involves an overnight trip to a rustic camp ground, canoeing down the challenging and fast Pine River, cooking meals over a campfire, and some hiking. The focus of this camp will be to surround our campers in God's creation, and through rigorous challenge, be stretched for growth in relationship with God and others. On the return to camp, campers will get to enjoy many of our amazing camp activities and games they have come to know and love at Pine Ridge. This will be an adventure they won't want to miss.

Take Camp to the Next Level

Take camp to the next level by adding one of the following additional experiences to your camp week. Enjoy the daily fun of Christian camping while also spending specialized time trying out a new thing or improving on skills you may already have.

Art Camp at Pine Ridge

Campers will enjoy a daily trail ride, while also deepening their understanding of both horse and rider safety. Daily instruction will focus on emergency equine care, independent saddling and bridling, as well as equitation. Campers will get to take care of a horse and learn to saddle and ride it throughout the week. All equipment is included, but we do ask campers to bring their own boots/good riding shoes and extra-long pants to ride in. No prior riding experience is required.

Art Camp at Pine Ridge

This Emphasis will allow each camper to explore one’s love of art beyond what is usually offered in the craft shop. The instruction will focus on several or progressive projects as time allows. Projects can be taken home by each camper to share with others and remind them of all their hard work.

Jr. High Campers after Swimming
1Why should I send my child to Pine Ridge?

Pine Ridge has helped children make unforgettable memories and life changing impacts since 1946! Through the years, we have a great track record of providing a safe and affordable summer camp for children and youth.

Summer camp has many benefits in all areas of life development. For instance, child experts agree that playing outside is very healthy and beneficial. Camp provides these types of real hands-on experiences and challenges. Our activities are not virtual, but they are live and real!

Summer camp also provides some great social development opportunities. Camp by design is structured for temporary communities to be developed. In other words, camp is a great place to meet new friends and grow other friendships deeper.

Camp will also be a place to try and learn new things. Besides our fun activities, campers might learn to build a fire, or study an ecosystem, or feed a goat. Eating healthy (yes, we still have food kids love) is also encouraged.

Finally, campers  will be challenged to consider the truths from God's Word. Along with this comes character growth and life changing decisions. We have heard parents tell us over the years that after a week at camp, their child might obey better or get along with siblings better.

All in all, summer camp at Pine Ridge is awesome. Kids that attend will create some memories that last forever, make some new friends, and be spiritually nurtured.
