Junior High Overnight Camps
Additional Jr. High Camp Options — Aviation Camp
During this week of exploring mission’s aviation, campers will experience ground lessons on pre-flight inspection as well as a briefing prior to each flight, during which the basic concepts of aerodynamics and aircraft control are explained in an abbreviated and simple format. Each camper will experience 3 flights during which the basic skills of ground maneuvering, climbs, level turns, and descents are perfected.

Wilderness Camp — Late Junior High & High School
The Au Sable Wilderness Trip offers campers in grades 8–12 an immersive, three-night canoe journey down the scenic Au Sable River. Campers will develop canoeing, survival, and primitive camping skills while forging friendships through paddling, campfire worship, and disconnecting from daily distractions. Ideal for those with a love for water, nature, and teamwork, this trip is limited to 12 campers and welcomes participants eager to learn and embrace the wilderness experience.
Steppin’up — Late Elementary & Junior High
Steppin’ Up Camp is the ultimate bridge between Oasis and our Ridge programs, giving campers in grades 5-7 the perfect taste of what’s to come! Set in the exciting Ridge camp area, this week is packed with fresh games, new activities, and a mix of familiar Oasis fun and thrilling Ridge experiences. It’s the perfect blend of comfort and challenge, sparking excitement and growth for campers as they step into the next chapter of their camp journey. With so much to explore and discover beyond Oasis, this week is one you won’t want to miss—it’s the beginning of something amazing!”

Elevate your camp experience by adding one of our exciting specialty options! Enjoy all the fun and fellowship of Christian camping, while also dedicating time to try something new or enhance a skill you’re already passionate about.
Basic & Advanced Watersports
Our Water Sports program is for all of our water-loving campers that want to develop some mad skills. These campers receive daily sessions and personal instruction out on beautiful Pine Lake. Each program includes tubing, knee boarding, water skiing, and wakeboarding, along with a trip to Action Wake Park where your camper will learn how to ride the cable.
Advanced Water Sports is for campers that have prior experience in each discipline or has previously went through our basic class.
Battle Games
This emphasis is for those who want to take Pine Ridge battle activities to the next level! In addition to the laser tag activity that we offer battle games will provide campers with the ability to play paintball throughout the week! All equipment will be included as campers will learn battle strategies and how to work together as a team!
Fishing
Campers will be taught how to catch “the BIG one”. Each day we will fish in Pine Lake with some seasoned pros guiding the way. Bring your own pole and tackle box or use Pine Ridge equipment. All experience levels are welcome!
STEM+God
New for 2025 is an unforgettable summer of hands-on learning and faith exploration in the STEM + God! Your child will learn STEM through a faith-centered lens from Shelley Hogan, a dedicated educator with over 20 years of high school STEM teaching experience, a BSEE from Geneva College, and a career background in electromagnetic compatibility analysis for the Department of Defense. Campers will dive into daily (Tues. - Fri) four-hour sessions of building, experimenting, and expanding their STEM skills. From constructing life-size cardboard boats to launching bottle rockets and creating electronics to take home, each activity is designed to challenge and inspire. Between STEM projects, campers will also enjoy fun group activities with their cabin mates, blending science, creativity, and faith in an exciting camp experience.

Summer Camp Discounts
Pine Ridge strives to make camp as affordable as possible. However, we realize that families sometimes still need additional support. The first thing to consider is participating in one of our Camper Fundraisers. We have two Food sale fundraisers with dates in March and April, and we also have a Key Card fundraiser that can be done at anytime. With much gratitude to many friends of Pine Ridge, we are able to offer generous scholarships to help those that can not participate in a fundraiser.
